The GPS application allows to receive GPS positions from a GPS receiver to send them to other applications. Moreover, the GPS application allows to store the positions into a file and to replay positions by reading a file. Finally, it can modify on-the-fly the positions in order to generate new realistic GPS files without any real moves (no GPS receiver required for this use).
